[fusion_text]The Central Securities Depository (CSD) has so far processed 1 809 Zimbabwe Stock exchange (ZSE) trades worth $142 million nearly a year after the system went live, Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa has said. Chinamasa said 17 142 transactions had so far been recorded electronically, while the CSD had taken on board 50 of the 61 active counters on ZSe since it went live on September 9 last year.A CSD is a system that maintains an electronic register of securities or financial instruments such as shares, bonds and other fixed income instruments and provides an efficient settlement process….
