MyBulawayo got a chance to sit down and have a chat with Patience the creator of the I AM EMPRESS movement and here is what she had to say about the I AM EMPRESS movement, how she juggles her career and motherhood and her advice to young ladies.

I have dreadlocks and each time I would go in to have my locs ‘did’, I was called Empress/ Mother Nature, Queen and so on and I took to Empress and now use it as my twitter username
MB:How do you juggle it all, motherhood, model, business woman?
I have never liked this question (Please note I am feministing here!) I enjoy everything I do so I make time
MB:What drives /motivates you
Achieving more and making my son proud that I am his mummy

I am. I believe in the saying, “umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu”

Simple, stay true to you, never give up on your dreams, if you can dream it, you can do it and never apologise for wanting more.
