MORE than 100 players turned up for the Highlanders’ trials aimed at beefing up the junior 
squads at the clubhouse over the weekend. The trials were for the Under-14s, Under-16s and 
Under-18s, although the focus was mainly on the Under-14s, who were affected by the elevation 
of players into the Under 16 side.
