GODLWAYO Cultural Centre in Filabusi’s Insiza District will come to life tomorrow as it hosts the launch of the National Culture Week.Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko is expected to launch the programme which will mark the beginning of week-long cultural festivities.
Angilacala Ndlovu, the provincial coordinator of the fete said the culture week which is celebrated in all provinces is meant to celebrate the country’s diverse cultures.
“Preparations for the celebrations are at an advanced stage and we’re expecting VP Mphoko to officiate at the launch,” Ndlovu said.
This year’s celebrations are being held under the theme “Culture Week: Towards Increased Community Participation” which seeks to encourage the participation of people from across the cultural divide
