MB.Who is Merelin Ngwenya
MN.Is a young lady aged twenty four who is a lover of life and things.lol.She is a daughter, sister,cousin and a friend
MB.What do you believe in
MN.I am a spiritual person I believe in God and that all things are possible through Him who strengthens me.
MB.Describe yourself in one word
MN.Beautiful
MB.Tell us about your education background
MN.I did my primary education at Masuku primary school then Eveline girls High from form 1-6 and then Bulawayo Poly till present
MB.Your love for news reporting/reading
MN.Well it was by accident I always wanted to be in the media industry but I never thought I would read the news.I have always wanted to be a radio presenter with a hip and happening show but I enjoy news presenting now.
MB.What inspired you to venture into news
MN.As I have already mentioned I never thought I would venture into that career path.I went to the audition to get a friend off my back but I just fell in love with news.I then started watching news channels and following current affairs programs and here I am.
MB.Tell us about your love for modelling
MN.Wow I have always wanted to model but was limited because of my weight.so I was that girl who would watch beauty pageants from the sidelines predict the winners etc.I then got a chance to audition for miss tourism Zimbabwe and here I am.
MB.What are some of the challenges you have faced in building the name ‘Merelin’
MN.Merelin is just Merelin.I would let my work speak for me,in everything I do,i do not think about building a name or brand.i just do things because it will be what i want to do at that point and time
MN.Between being a news anchor, model, and what you studying now what comes first
MB.Hahahaha that’s so unfair I love everything I can’t choose

MB.I hear you studying a different field not media related tell us about that
MN.It depends on how you like to see it.Electronic engineering has a place in the media industry. I can choose to be behind the scenes on full time basis when I finish my diploma.

MN.Love yourself,you are worth it.
