Launched on the 25th of June 2012, being the first commercial radio station in Zimbabwe and with their mantra ”       sounding good all the time” indeed it has lived up to this.

According to the recent statistics from ZAMPS Star Fm Zimbabwe continues to dominate in giving their listeners good entertainment. Star Fm is the ledaing radio broadcaster in Zimbabwe in Urban space, this has shown how many people love the station as it boosts some of the talented presenters and disky-jockeys. Frrom Nicky the star, on the breakfast club, The Brezze with Ayati and Tariro, to the lunch time show dubbed the TXO listeners are thrilled with undiluted talent.

In partnership with Coca Cola Star Fm is scheduled to do live broadcast from the 1st  to the 3rd of February at the Chronicle building in Bulawayo. The major shows that will be broadcasted live in Bulawayo include the Breakout between 0300-0600, sungura wednesday between 2200 till 0000,

According to the radio legend now the Star fm station manager Mr Comfort Mbofana said they have tried to give the best of radio to their listeners for the past years when Sar fm was introduced.” we hope to continue taking radio to the people as these listeners define who we are and have put us in this position today”

Star fm Zimbabwe continues to make history as it was the first radio station to broadcast from UK last year in June, the 326 drive time show duo Kudzai Violet Gwara KVG and Pathisani Sibanda made history and broadcasted live in the UK. Star fm continues to dominate the airwaves and have lived to their mantra ‘sounding good all the time’.

Bulawayo listeners expressed their happiness as some of the adverts have been airing concerning the live broadcasts set for the city of queens.According to the latest ZAMPS findings Star fm is the leading urban radio followed by ZIFM stereo and Radio Zimbabwe.
