THE Standards Association of Zimbabwe director-general Dr Eve Gadzikwa is set to become the first woman president of the African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO).
ARSO is a continental organisation whose mandate is to facilitate intra-Africa trade through harmonised standards. A ZBCtv report said Dr Gadzikwa will assume ARSO presidency at the organisation’s 22nd general assembly meeting in Arusha, Tanzania today where Zimbabwe takes over the leadership of the organ.
