Chris Evans has admitted he’s “entirely sad” to leave his dream job on Top Gear and that he would have “loved” to carry on fronting the BBC show. The Radio 2 presenter, who had taken over the revamped version of the show after the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, quit hours after the final episode was broadcast last month.
