It’s that time of the year again when the Zimbabwe international trade fair grounds host the WASHen expo 2016. This year expo runs from the 22 to the 23rd of September 2016. The opening times for this expo is from 0900hrs to 1700hrs. The main highlights for this year’s expo is water , sanitation and energy conferences, guided field tours and the official opening of the expo.
WASHen is a specialised confex aimed at creating awareness and tackling issues in the water, sanitation, hygiene and energy industries. It is the new shop window providing a platform for industry professionals to come together to share ideas, network and showcase their latest technologies in these specific sectors.
It came at a time when Zimbabwe Agenda For Sustainable Socio Economic Transformation( ZimAsset) and the UN Sustainable Development goals, goals for water, sanitation, hygiene and energy where at the forefront of the country’s sustainability agenda.
The event is only open to traders and business people. It is held at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre, in Bulawayo Hall number 3.
