Kano – Two would-be suicide bombers were killed in Maiduguri, northeast Nigeria, yesterday, after apparently trying to target an overnight Ramadan vigil, a civilian vigilante and a local resident said. “There were two explosions outside the mosque on the Damboa Road this morning but luckily no deaths were recorded apart from the two bombers,” militia member Babagana Kolo told AFP.
