In a night of fun , fashion, entertainment at HICC, Bulawayo girls dominated in this year Miss tourism Zimbabwe, the guest speaker for the awards was the first lady Dr Grace Mugabe. Perfomances by Dr Malinga and his kicking moves left the crowd asking for more, accompanied by  Busiswa they shared the stage with Ammara Brown and Tammy Sibanda.

Bulawayo girls showed their beauty as they did the cat walk ,it was a glamorous event and a night to remember for the 15 beautiful ladies.

The winner for Miss Tourism Zimbabwe 2016 went to a student from National University of Science and Technology (NUST)  Ashley Morgan .She walked away with a sum $20 000 ,  a car and other prizes, while first runner-up Nonhlanhla Dube, who was also named Miss Agro Tourism received  $10 000. the second runner up and named Miss City Tourism Shirley Ann Lindsey received $5000.

Amongst the people who graced  the occasion was the speaker of parliament Jacob Mudenda,Information and broadcasting services minister  Christopher Mushowe,and the minister of local government Savior Kasukuwere, Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Walter Mzembi, the patron for Miss tourism Zimbabwe , Barbara Mzembi, the Zanu Pf secretary for Youth Affairs Kudzanayi Chipanga among others.
